What it does

  • Screen and Presentation record through the xdg-desktop-portal ScreenCast session plus GStreamer pipewiresrc.
  • Camera, Voice, and Creator paths use FFmpeg. OBS WebSocket is optional when OBS is already running.
  • The README lists disabled tiles for captions, highlights, Shorts, AI title, and YouTube upload.

What it is not

  • This is not OBS itself, and it is not a hosted editor.
  • The repository does not claim YouTube upload or cloud AI features.

Install

Build from the repository

The README targets a Pop!_OS 24.04-class creator desktop with Rust, GTK4, libadwaita, PipeWire, and FFmpeg.

Foundation crates and tests compile without GTK headers. Follow the repository README for the current package list.
